A day porter keeps the building right while it is full

Two hours, four hours or a full shift on site, covering the things that go wrong between eight in the morning and five at night.

  • Licensed and insured
  • Five star rated
  • Background checked crews
  • Commercial only, five years

Night cleaning fixes the building once. A busy lobby, a school corridor or a clinic with sixty patients a day will not stay fixed until the evening. By eleven in the morning the restroom is low on paper, there is coffee on the lobby tile, and the break room sink has a stack in it that everybody is walking past.

A day porter is the answer to that specific problem. One person, on site, on your schedule, handling the things that cannot wait until tonight. It is the least glamorous service we sell and the one that changes how a building feels the fastest.

What the visit covers

  • Restroom checks on a set rotation with paper and soap restocked
  • Lobby, entrance glass and entry mats kept clear through the day
  • Spills and incidents handled within minutes, not at end of day
  • Break room and cafe area reset between the lunch waves
  • Trash and recycling pulled before bins overflow, not after
  • Conference rooms turned around between bookings
  • Elevator interiors, rails and touch points wiped through the day
  • Exterior entrance swept, cigarette debris and litter cleared
  • Light supply runs and stockroom checks reported to your contact
  • A written log of what was handled, left with your facility contact

How the shift gets sized

The mistake is buying a full shift because it sounds thorough. Most buildings need coverage in bands rather than continuously: a morning pass, a lunch pass and a late afternoon pass usually cover ninety percent of what goes wrong. That can be four hours instead of eight, and the difference is real money over a year.

We watch your building for a week before recommending a number, and we say so plainly when the honest answer is that you do not need a porter at all and a second night visit would serve you better.

FAQ

About day porter service

If what you need to know is not here, call and ask. We would rather tell you we are the wrong fit than sell you a program you do not need.

Is it always the same person?

Yes, that is the point of the service. A porter who knows your building, your tenants and your supply closet is worth three times one who is filling a shift. Cover for holidays and sick days is arranged with you in advance.

Can the porter handle small facility tasks?

Light ones, defined in writing: replacing a bulb you supply, moving furniture for a meeting, taking a delivery to a floor. Anything that needs a licensed trade is not ours to touch and we will tell you straight away.

Can we combine a porter with a night crew?

That is the most common setup in larger buildings. The porter holds the day, the night crew does the full scope, and both work off the same written document so nothing falls between them.
